How long will it take to receive my roll bar or roll cage?
Almost all Autopower roll bars and roll cages are built to order. Generally speaking, it takes Autopower 4-6 business weeks to construct and ship your order. It is then handed to the freight carrier who will deliver it. The freight carrier will contact you to arrange for delivery.
How much does shipping a roll bar or roll cage cost?
The total shipping cost is highly dependent upon where you live in relation to the freight carrier's closest depot. Generally speaking, shipping to the East Coast is between $130 - $160 and the closer to Autopower you live the less expensive the freight will be. If you need an exact estimate on shipping, please contact us.
I don't have a business address. Can you still ship a roll bar or roll cage to me?
Autopower ships using frieght companies. Freight companies deliver with trucks. Sometimes they are full-size tractor trailers. If you live in a tiny apartment complex or on a small street, it is probably not a good idea to have a roll bar or roll cage shipped directly to you. The best place to receive would be some place with a loading dock. There have been successful deliveries to all kinds of places. Just remember, you are responsible for ensuring an easy delivery for both you and the frieght company.
I need my roll bar or roll cage sooner than 6 weeks! Help!
Autopower can process "rush" orders for an additional fee. Generally this will result in shipment within a week. Autopower's ability to handle rush orders varies. Please contact us for details and the current cost.
What colors are available for roll bars and roll cages?
Much like early Fords, you can have any color you want as long as it is black. Autopower coats all their bars and cages in an industrial black coating after assembly. The bars and cages are then packed and shipped. Because they are shipped via truck freight, the finish of the roll bars and cages is not guaranteed. Expect there to be scratches and blemishes on the paint. If you really wish for a perfect paint job, you can request that the bar be shipped to you un-painted, and then you can paint it yourself.
When Autopower ships almost all roll bars and roll cages, it ships them "Freight Collect". Freight Collect is a lot like cash on delivery (COD). Because of the size of cages and bars, they are generally too expensive to ship viaa UPS or FedEx. Autopower uses traditional freight carriers. These freight carriers charge for delivery based primarily on the distance from their local depot. Autopower will hand the roll bar or roll cage to the frieght carrier who will then contact you regarding delivery. They will tell you your delivery price when they contact you. You are responsible for paying for the freight charges when your item arrives.
