Pro Suspension System: Fine Tuning for the Driving Professional.
The Tanabe Sustec Pro S-S delivers broad performance for the track to the streets. Featuring 4-way front and 4 or 8 way rear adjustment, S-S allows drivers to fine tune height, dampening and rebound based on track conditions and driver preference.

A wide range of height adjustment allows the driver to alter the center of gravity and allows for corner balancing of the vehicle for competition useage. When finely tuned, the S-S is formidable on the track, while uniquely retaining high levels of comfort for street driving, due to the highly unique internal valving of the S-S suspension.

The Type II model of the Sustec Pro S-S suspension is a non-helper spring model that features a longer main coil spring. It is highly affordable for a high caliber suspension.

Competition Spec PRO210 Race Spring
Spring rates are tuned to provide high stability and favorable handling characteristics with a neutral front and rear balance. PRO210 was developed for extreme durability and balance. This spring has the highest tensile strength available due to our patented manufacturing process. For professional suspension tuners, custom rates and sizes are available. The main coil spring of the S-S Type II is longer because it is a non helper spring model.

Adjustable Dampening Levels
Dampening levels are user selectable in either 4 way front and/or 8 way rear increments. The actual range of dampening force during adjustment is extremely wide, so each 'click' makes a huge impact on driving characteristics. True dampening force is independent of the number of 'clicks' a system may have, where a 4 way system might actually have more dampening force than a 16, 32, or 64 way system! The simple ease of adjustments and wide difference in each setting eliminate unnecessary adjustments.

Short Stroke, Shortened Case Dampener
Short stroke and shortened case of the S-S dampener allows for the vehicle to be lowered aggressively, without compromising suspension stroke or comfort.

High Performance Internal Valving
The valving of this system is highly unique in that it uses a variety of check valves and internal valving unique to Sustec Pro suspensions, that cannot be found in most other systems available. Valved for high levels of performance, The S-S dampener is also considerably comfortable for non motorsports driving. This is due to the unique valving of the system that allows excellent performance, without sacrificing comfort.

Low Pressure Gas, unique Dual Chamber Design
Not all dual chamber dampeners are created alike. The S-S features a unique, highly advanced dual chamber design that ensures maximum durability and endurance. Low pressure gasses allow extremely smooth rebound characteristics. S-S is highly unique in that performance, durability and comfort can co-exist.

High Value, Low Cost
The non helper spring model of the Sustec Pro S-S is an inexpensive, highly valuable adjustable suspension kit. The cost of the S-S Type II is the same, if not less than purchasing high performance springs and shocks seperately, with the added benefit of a higher spring rate, and an adjustable dampener properly tuned for lowering and higher spring rates.

Durable Spring Seat & Lock Nut
Constructed of forged aluminum, longetivity and superior strength is ensured. Additionally, the threaded portion of the casing is chemically treated to resist rust and corrosion.

Optional Pillowball Upper Mounts
The S-S installs with factory uppermounts, for a simple bolt on installation. Alternately, some kits include solid pillowball uppermounts for a solid mount, and precise handling feel. Pillowball uppermounts reduce the mount of play in the suspension and reduce suspension geometry changes while under heavy loads. Some of our pillowball uppermounts also have camber adjustment, which can correct or alter camber settings beyond factory ranges. Pillowball Upper Mounts are available for most S-S and S-S Type II suspensions.

This program avoids high costs associated with sending kits in for expensive overhauls, which can take months.
