What does "Truck Freight Collect" mean? Truck Freight Collect tells you the part is shipped by truck and freight charges will be collected upon delivery. We recommend that you ship to a business address as someone needs to be available to receive your part when the shipper arrives (usually between 9 AM and 5 PM). All shippers are a little different as to how they collect the monies owed. Most trucking companies will call before coming and you may then ask them at the exact invoice amount and what payment methods they accept. Please don't ask if you can pay for the shipping in advance if you don't like hearing "NO". How much will the shipping cost? Cost of freight shipping depends upon where you live in relationship to Autopower in San Diego, California. If you live in California, we estimate about $80-$100. If you are not too much further away, maybe $120-$150. If you live across the country on the East Coast, bet on $160-$200. Shiping can cost over $200 depending on where you ship to compared to the trucker's normal route. If you can't ship to a business address or a location that someone is always available to accept delivery, bet on more. If your delivery is attempted and no one is there to receive it or pay for it, bet on paying a lot more to have it stored and redelivered.
